New shear baler for Grupo Defesa

GRUPO DEFESA relies once again on IMABE for the acquisition of its new shearing.

This time, the company specializing in the management and recovery of paper and cardboard has decided to invest in the scrap metal sector, trusting us once again to design and manufacture the shearing press that best suits their needs.

Collaborating with us for more than 45 years, GRUPO DEFESA already has numerous IMABE equipment in its facilities for waste management, such as baling presses for paper and cardboard, presses for plastics, industrial shredders, compactors, etc.

This latest acquisition is a side compression shear baler, with an advanced design for pressing and shearing all types of scrap and metals. Thanks to the side ram, its production increases by more than 30%. The operating costs are low and the machine requires minimal maintenance.

This shear has been “baptized” with the name PCL-700 due to the maximum cutting force of 700 tons that it can reach.

The shear baler has been entirely manufactured by IMABE, in our facilities in Arganda del Rey, Madrid.
